The entire Jewish argument against Jesus not being the Messiah is because they are looking forward to another one that is the Messiah. What orthodox Jew is arguing there will not be the Messiah to redeem them in the future?Their argument against Jesus being the Messiah is the messianic age not being here.

Christians are not waiting either.
Since the Jews have been waiting for thousands of years, yes, it would be a waste of time to constantly fret when their Messiah would come since who knows how much longer they would have to wait.
